I've got to get me some good Willow Creek! That is one very nice piece and great patterns. It looks like a huge Larvae ready to pop out of it's cocoon. Your wife will Love it! Steve

It looks like you had an amazing slab of willow creek, the cabs I've seen you made these days from this material are all breath-taking and this one makes no exception. By the contrary, that red-purplish crystal inclusion in the right side makes it even more special. Definetely very good as a Christmas present for your wife.

I would have missed that crystal inclusion had you not mentioned it Adrian. That cab is exceptionally beautiful and the Randy style wrap is perfect for the stone. For some reason, I see a back view of a woman where her hands may be crossed over her chest because I just see shoulders. She is wearing a brimless hat and might be sitting down as the rest of the stone looks like a soft cushy all pillows chair.
I love it when a stone stirs up the imagination. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you guys so much for the comments. I bought an Apricot sized nodule and got 6 slabettes and a little end cut for display. My wife loves it so I'm a happy man.

If your wife doesn't like it, I'd be happy to take it off her hands. You did a great job with a great piece of rough! I love the subtle bail, as well. It all just really, really works.
