My most recent efforts on the grinder... hard to find time these days... these are bigger than I've done before.... most are about 2" long Turritella from Textiger I was surprised at how dense this stuff is... very heavy... stinky too!! Slag glass from the rock shop in Smithville, Tx. Crazy Lace Green Moss Same cab - backlit Tiffany Stone Cathedral Agate? not sure... Forestfire Jasper Black Plume - probably from W. Texas. same cab - backlit Woodward Ranch multi-colored Moss Dino Bone from Spike. Sorry about the glare and reflections... still working on a good light box solution... Dan

The backlit green moss is really sweet with the percet reflection of your Sony camera.

Wow, nice cabs. I really like the green moss and Texas plume. Very nice polish on them.
The Turitella is really cool too. A local dealer told me that if you look at it under a microscope you can often find microcopic shrimp fossilized within the shells. I've never tried it, but it would be cool to check out.

Wow, what a beautiful group of cabs. I was going to say the Tifany Stone was my fav but then saw the Dino Bone and my eyes popped out.
You made me laugh when you said the Tirretella was stinky. I have a habbit of smelling rocks (though I wont lick them) and this is the first that I remember anyone else makeing reference of the odors that they emminate.

The green moss with the "ynoz" in it is the best one!
Great batch

Boy that's a GREAT batch! The shine is blinding! My faves are the moss (especially backlit!) and the black plume! Great job, Blarney!

Great batch Dan. Love the dino and the forestfire jasper. That turritella has really nice contrast. Good work on all of them.

It is really hard to pick a favorite here but I will go with your moss and cathedral plume agate. You did a great job with the shapes and shine! Fran

The "Texans" T'shirs was replaced by the Sony camera, but the shine is the same: totally blinding! The Dino and the crazy lace are my favorites, but hard to pick among the other beauties. Adrian
