My girl and I went to Charleston Falls, a little reserve just north of Dayton OH, on Sunday to see the icicles. Just thought you all might like these... Hell, you southerners may have never even seen something like this .... enjoy.... note the guy standing in the middle left of the pic for some scale...the pics just don't do justice.... go to my Flickr page if you would like to see more, I have alot of neat pics some of you would probably enjoy.... flickr.com/photos/who-dey-chris/ thanks, Chris

There is a stone wall near me that is a wall of frozen ice, people throw colored water on the ice and it looks like a rainbow, I should take a pic. Your pics are lovely, but I hate the cold, I would rather be in the desert getting a tan with a margarita in the other hand!!!!! Thanks for sharing! Amber

That frozen fall looks great! I am pretty tired of the cold here. We have missed most of the snow so far but if you are going to get up in the morning to 3-19 degrees, you might as well have snow. the brown and grey everywhere just doesn't look so nice. My son in San Diego had 80 degrees a few days ago... Fran

Sandsman1, your comment reminds me of my brother-in-law in Phoenix. He used to complain that he had to put on his jacket to ride his motorcycle to work in January. I felt so bad for him.

Those frozen falls are beautiful. I use to take trips up to NH alot in my skiing days and the favorite part of the trip was seeing the ice falls over the rocks. Some of it was the most beautiful pale blue color and it was all natural, not dye.
Thanks for shairing these. It brings back nice memories.
