My sister called me up and wanted a dark blue cab for a present. I didn't have anything so I just had to cab. ;D Of course I did more than one. I also slipped in a mexican opal. I took the sodalite to 1200 then used cerium. I'm really starting to love that stuff. The one for I did for my sister. One for me. The mexican opal. I tried to capture the flash but I didn't get much of it.

Great cabs Tony! I really like the second Sodalite that you are keeping. Its nice when you have to think up a gift to give someone and the only thing you have to do is cab. Shannon

Nice Tony! Isn't it fun to be so WANTED! ;D It is amazing what a shine cerrium can produce. I know I can see a difference in the cabs I started using it on. Steve

The Sodalite is beautiful and the pattern on the second one is amazing. That little bit of green flash in the opal that you did catch is so vibrant and enough to be able to imagine what the rest of the flash looks like.

Beautiful cabs, Tony! That seccond sodalite is a keeper, for sure! The first one is also beautiful, your sister will love it. Don't show her that second one though: it qualifies better for her "dark blue" requirement Adrian

That second sodalite is a drooler! oH MY! I'm in awe of this material and for something so soft it takes a fabulous shine!
Is that opal some sort of Jelly Opal? It looks so innocent in that first picture, then WHAM! the flash hits you in the second picture

Thanks all, my sis wanted the cab as a gift so hopefully the recipient will like it.
Steve, I need to feel wanted. Now that Bejewelme is becoming quite the cabber she won't be needing my cabs anymore. ;D
Twettiepy, I'm not sure what kind of opal it is as I'm far from a opal expert. I just know its from Mexico.
