Wow, those are mighty fine cabs! You're a regular "cabbing factory". Hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to I would go (1) Prescott plume, (2) Jumpin Jeep, (3) Flame agate. It doesn't look like you are having any 3000 grit scratching problems on this set of cabs!

Wow! First off, another awesome eye popping batch of cabs. Got to give the nod to the Prescott Plume which is friggin great but they are all exceptional specimens. Your first unknown is a conundrum because here are actually two agate types from two different continents that have that same look *S*. The first is African Lace which is imported by Kim at Delta Rock Gallery (one of our members) from South Africa. The second is Calico Lace Agate from northern Mexico. I can't in most instances tell them apart. ( I'd guess yours is the African stuff though) Your second unknown may be a piece from the edge of some Sheep Springs Plume which sometimes shows that sort of an opaque white pattern with black dendrites pattern along the edges if it's cut right. Not sure on that one though....Mel

It's a toss up, but I think the first Deschutes wins for me. Maybe. It might be the round Priday, or maybe the Wyoming Sage. I have no idea! They are all terrific.

I routinely buy the stuff I can't identify to expand my collection. I have to get more of the African/Calico lace agate. It was extremely hard stuff and has incredible micro-detail. It was one of my 3 favorite cabs from this whole batch. I think you're right about the second one too. The white material was on the edge of the slab. It was quite brittle and soft like opalite (that's why the two corners are shaped off Dan
