OK, I'm sure this is a stupid question to those of you who are more computer literate but here goes. This morning when I logged onto this site, the test and pics which usually fit nicely on my screen and are easy to read and view, are now spread clear across and off the screen so I have to tediously scroll back and forth to read and entire message. I have no idea how this happened as i didn't hit any buttons or such. My question is: "Is there some tool on this site or whatever that will compress the text and pics back into a regular screen view where it's all on the screen?" Thanks...mel

Actually it's because the picture above your message is big and takes up a lot of the screen - it's nothing about you For shrinking pics, if you're using Photoshop there's an option to resize the picture - you could use that if your own picture is really big & doesn't fit on the screen BTW - there are no stupid questions as I've already asked them all since joining up!

Depending on what post you were looking at, tweety's probably right. I have that problem all the time so I tend to miss alot of the pics in the members photos. The problem of a picture being huge causes the text to scroll out as far as the picture before it wraps around. Check one of your posts, see how they look.

it's the size ratio people use when posting pics. i try to use a pixel width of 400 by a height of 300, this seems to fit the screen without having to move the bottom bar on your screen.
so it's the settings other peeps use, not you , Sabre.

Thanks *L* I'm so relieved! I have a bad habit of sometimes doing things too fast and hitting the wrong button or combination thereof ofthen with strange and annoying results!
