A few weeks ago I posted a thread about Margaret Hussman. She was a fifteen year old who passed away of cancer. I had wanted to give her a gift of tumbled rocks from people throughout this site while she was going through her treatments. Sadly, she passed away too quickly. Thanks to Sitnwrap, Frane and Rockygibralter, who donated some of their polished stones, we were able to make a total of thirty-five containers to give to ill kids at the hospital in her name. This is what was given to the kiddos. Thanks everyone. Condor

Condor, what you did was so thoughtful. As a 6yr old, I was laid up in the hosp bed ridden for two weeks. O, there were books and puzzles and crayons but nothing as cool as rocks. So I know what its like to be in the hospital as a kid.
You just expanded their world, can't you hear them, they are looking and swapping and hoarding and I bet some of them are dreaming of rockhounding and God willing perhaps some will.
Bless you for this wonderful gift you gave them. It is wonderful that 15yr old Margaret is still touching the lives of many through efforts such as yours.

I have heard that something to focus on is needed through some of the treatments. I think these should really help in that department! They all look so pretty there too! Fran
