Good looking batch Ed. I've been watching a slab of that Indonesian sagenite on ebay and now you've made me want it more. I've got to get some of that WWR material too.

A beautiful set of cabs. That coral is amazing and I love the color in the Dino Bone. It almost looks mossy.

Hey Ed. Looks to me like you’ve changed your cut a little bit, with a much more pronounced bevel on the shoulder. For your jewelry making customers?
Or am I just seeing things with the new photo set up/lighting?

The first two are particularly nice... and the malachite. I have to say, after seeing it for a few posts, I like your new photo setup! T

Very nice set of cabs! Excellent work. I really like the Coral, nice color and patterns. The WWR's are my favorites though. Some beautiful plumes there. HPD

Hey Stoner,
Love the Malachite - that is an exquisite stone and the shape you chose really pops the pattern - very fine indeed, love the leaves too! ;D That Botswana is an excellent example also - very lovely banding and the crystally centre looks excellent.
But... The Coral is in a class of it's own - extraordinary colour and pattern, beautiful shape and an excellent example, very very impressive.
Thanks for sharing your works, they always make me smile to see.
Cheers,
Sparkles.

How is it I managed to not comment on these? I love that Indonesian material - the fossil coral, the plume/sagenite stuff, and that purple.

Thanks everyone. Rich, you hit the nail on the head about the bevel. Most of my customers set the stones in a bezel setting, so now I just cut all my cabs with that in mind. Some people have asked about my new photo setup, so, here's the scoop. It's a frosted glass nut dish turned upside down. A few pics. It works great for the clear agates and it also shows the colors closer to reality on all the cabs.
