I loose things all the time Sharon but I just count it to old age any more that way I don't get stressed out when I can't find something. Or I ask my wife where I put it, but she tells me she does not know because I did not tell her what I was putting it. Oh, well it was a good idea at the time. I hid several CD's of our stuff in case we get robbed but now I cannot remember where I put them.
Hope you find it. Most likely will pop up when your not looking for it.

Does flying off the bull wheel whilst polishing count? Those wee beesties are hard to find even when you hear which wall they bounced off! Woody

Wolf: No undies in your Bday box this time........maybe next year LOL Woody: Yes by golly, that does count. The last time that happened to me the cab went rolling under the computer desk. Didnt see it at the time though so it took awhile to find. Shannon

Yup .... there are three places you should always look for those mysteriously missing items ...
Refrigeration Bathroom Bottom of purse or bag
Or ... could you have accidentally mailed it to someone you sent a package or box to?
As always Julie

 *EHEM* *SHEEPISH SMILE* *CLEARING THROAT* I found the long lost cab. It was.........at my cabbing table.............in one of my small bin drawers.........specifically purchased to keep.........finished cabs safe and "not lost". I SWEAR I looked for the frigg'n thing in those drawers three times the other day!!!!!!!! The cab is now hiding its legs but I KNOW it has them. How else could you explain it ending up right where it was supposed to be? I certainly didnt put it there, I NEVER put things where they are supposed to be. Hence, the "lost" cab thread. Thank you all for your suggestions......the fridge........"under things"......even with the gosh darn grapes and with the gnomes that steal undies from Wolves in Vermont. You guys are the bestest. Shannon

Somewhere in this mess I call home is a bucket of purple quartz. I worked hard to split it off, and pack it down the hill. I collected it last April or May, and figured I would cut it this winter. Well winter is almost over, and I still can not find it. I think it camouflaged it's self as a rock and is just sitting there giggling at me.
I hope someday the Rock Gods will forgive me, and revel them self.

About a month ago I lost some earring cabs that I was making for Amber. I looked high and low and for the life of me couldn't figure out where I had put them. The other night I'm sitting here watching TV and doing homework and I see the cat squeeze out from under the cedar chest and what was lying in front of her, the cabs (they were still glued together). Darn animal must have knocked them off the table and under there when I wasn't looking. lol

I lost my two 33B tumblers! - I looked in all the unpacked boxes and I can't find them - it's been two years since the move and I wanted to dig them out but I can't find them - I think I have the barrels but I can't find the darn machines - Now how in heck did I lose those?

The missing one finial y appeared later months later. Turned out to be an only slab. Charoite Then I had to buy more

Shannon, I came back to this thread just to see if you found it yet. Congrats!
Tweetie, maybe you gave the tumblers away to someone who needed them? I do it a LOT ... give stuff away, forget I did, then spend forever looking for it, til I suddenly remember and go DUHHH. Hehehe.
In my new crib, I have a bedroom, and half of a 2 car garage. My old place was a 3BR house with a 3 car garage, all mine. 90% of my stuff is now in a 25' x 8' storage unit, jam packed, with about a 6" aisle down the middle. Everything's buried, and I can't find hardly anything. I have two milk crates full of cookbooks in there, somewhere, but I'll be damned if I can find them. I hope the gnomes didn't take them. I KNOW they wanted my recipe for Dragon Tongue Stew, but it's not in those books anyway!
