Hi everyone! Today I chose to cut a rock that I got from Karen (karenfh). I'm so sorry I didn't picture it before slicing it Anyway, three slices resulted from that rock and I thought I could do three cabs that resemble to each other. Here they are, firstly two group shots: And now, individual shots. The big cab: The cab in the middle: And the small one, which is very high domed: Thank you all for looking, Adrian

Just like the three little bears! Except I think each one is just right! That's a very gorgeous shine you've achieved...I see you like Phillips light bulbs. LOL!

Cool - and blinding shine too! - I'd like to know where you found rocks with text on it - and how you managed to NOT grind that off!

Thank you folks! Kjohn, I dunno what is it, it looks like a banded agate (water level lines maybe) but that's all I can say about it, besides the fact I have it from Karen. "Three generations" ... KD, you're right they look like that indeed. Kinda remind me the Koala bears, you can see the cub on the back of the mother on the back of the grandmother Tweet, the text was hidden but when I polished them, it revealed itself Adrian

Killer shine as usual. Nice concept doing three different sizes of the same shape, one for you, your wife and daughter.

I love the subtle scene in the third pic. Looks like a cloud rising in the sky. You put a beautiful shine on all three.

Simply beautiful! I love the high shine and the gentle banding in them. That explosion in the first one really looks neat! Fran

Hi Adrian!
Yup - those are absolutlely up to "Adrian Standard" - they passed the lightbulb test - even through the camera! ;D
What a fantastic stone, the banding is really interesting, and I love seeing stones that "slope" in that way - the bands are beautiful, but I wasn't expecting the intrusive details, the twizzle the big cab to level the bands, it looks like the trail left when they launch the space shuttle whizzing up through the clouds!
Great job on some gorgeous rocks Mate! Definitely a case of Adrian doing what he does best!
Cheers,
Sparkles.
