Nice batch of cabs. My favorite is the "Help Please?" I'd be glad to help, please send it to me so I can examine it in greater detail and if I cannot identify it, I'll just keep it for my own collection. If I am able to identify it, I'll tell you what it is before I add it to my collection. (he..he) Overall, nice set of cabs. keep up the great work!

Amber likes the Amber!! WOW nice set of cabs too, I think I need to examine the Help Please one too!!! That is my fav of the non-amber cabs! Never saw or heard of the Borneo Amber, very interesting all the different types, I guess I should be more up on it all!! The moss agates are awesome!!! Amber

The transparent amber is like honey! The other cabs are beautiful too, my favorite is the pointy one in the 2nd to last pic.

I tried to cab amber once. It was a $20 piece of mexican blue that wasn't blue at all. By the time I ground through the crust the things was tiny. Not to mention I could never get the scratches out. I've since been told that you can't use a machine to cab amber but have to do it all with wet sandpaper and steel wool. How did you shape and polish these?

Blue Amber is blue only under a Black Lite. I shaped these two cabs on my poly. Do not go near Amber with a SC wheel. I start will 100 grit belt and go from there. 2000 grit at least before you go to leather (not a belt) for handpolish. All done wet, except for the leather. It takes a very light touch even on the leather. Remember it has a hardness of 3. After polish I give it a coat of mothers wax.

Nice batch! I love the two with the pretty brown moss with white background. The amber under blacklight is TOO cool!

Dang! You are really good at all of the cabs, by hand or machine! I have never seen such a free from pits, green tree agate. That is really awesome! I think I love them all! Fran

Thanks for the advice. I don't have a UV light so I can't see the blue on mine.
