Hi, everyone! I was questioning you a few days ago about what to do with the thinner slabs, and Woody - woodyrock came out with a very cool idea. Thank you Woody, I followed your advice and that's what I managed to do: The green face is Kamamba, the other one is unknown to me. Could be a Fairburn? Both of them had cool patterns but each of them were too thin to be used for a grooved wrap. Here's a side view: And two close-ups: Thanks for looking, Adrian

Awwww Adrian, its beautiful!!! Exactly how I imagined that you would do. The idea worked splendidly. I really love how the groove wrap hides where the two materials meet.

Very nice Adrian. That is a fairburn, I have cut a few that have the feathery white bands.

Great job Adrian - beautiful piece! You've really done a great job getting that wire tucked into the groove (even the concave part), and perfectly wrapping the bail. Garry

Adrian, That is a really fantastic cab and wrap. What a unique way to utilize pieces that would otherwise not be very useful. Bob

That's great. No slab is too thin anymore.

Great use of Kabamba. I find the pattern hard to fit well into a cab-sized shape. You did well.

Adrian: I am so glad my two cents worth inspired the results we see here! I had thought we would see you produce something very nice, but now no 'too thin' slab is safe! Woody

Thank you all! Shannon, thank you for the nice words, coming from a doublet addicted like you they are even more special. Wolf, thank you, you're too kind, don't make me blush. Garry, this is not the first time when I made a groove wrap on concave parts, here's the first one I made. Adrian

What a fantastic idea and perfect execution as usual from our groove master. I haven't tried a groove wrap on a concave edge yet. I'll give it a shot.
