There been a few reports in the news lately about volcano eruptions saw a video of an under the ocean one down in seas of Australia, i think and now this one ^Redoubt^ in Anchorage news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090323/ap_on_re_us/alaska_volcano'Ash from Alaska's volcanos is like a rock fragment with jagged edges and has been used as an industrial abrasive. It can injure skin, eyes and breathing passages.' I found this sentence to be interesting... serious business

Wasn't that underwater volcano awesome? I saw it on the news and it was just incredible.

Yeah, thats what we need right about now. A big volcano to cover a few states with hot ash.
It's hard to fathom the hugeness of a volcano. I've watched shows on them and heard 1rst hand reports but still can't get my head around it.

I have been watching redoubt almost daily since January...Then I didn't on the weekend while my son was here. Not a video to be seen of Redoubt blowing any of the times. I guess they weren't watching at the first one and then there was too much ash to see after that. The earth is amazing and always forming and altering itself. I have heard and seen video that there are new volcanic spouts forming under the ice shelf that is melting...makes since. Fran

Alaska's Mount Redoubt has another large eruption Saturday after being relatively quiet for nearly a week
