Hello All.
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the CabMate machine. I don't need anything big, and I do not mind changing wheels between grinds. The Cabmate looks like it would be a good machine for someone just starting out in cabbing. Any comments/feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Love my Cabmate. Bought it second hand about 14 years ago and it is still going strong. I use a 100 diamond for my initial shaping, then change to a 2 inch rubber wheel with a full line of diamond belts. All the way to 50,000. Great machine!

I love my cabmate! Be sure to go all diamond, and use threaded backing plates for your pads to speed up changing between grinds. I use 80 & 120 wheel, 220,320,600,1200,3000 pads then polish on leather with 14K and 50K diamond paste.
The only problem I've had is that the lamp blew out in less than a year-I just clamped a shop lamp in it's place.

I LOVE mine as well. They've been in continuous production for many years. Ive known people that liked them so well they bought a second one for their rv/vacation home or whatever.

Thank you all for the input. I'm still deciding between the CabMate and All-U-Need. Since I'm on the subject, does anyone have any experience with the All-U-Need? Thanks!
