Since I started a part-time job in January I feel like I haven't been making many cabs lately. After counting, there are something like 50+ new ones. Last weekend in Albuquerque I sold a number of pieces so I guess I'm still in positive territory. Here are a some matched pairs of Brasilian rutile and a suite of purple jade from Turkey. On the first pair of rutile I left the faces with the natural crystal instead of finishing them.

Love the rutile! I like leaving the natural face sometimes too. I just finished a purple jade cab tonight!!!! How funny!!!! I never saw any cabbed. My piece was very thin, but I love it, sort of reminds me of burro creek agate, only much softer to work!
Is that jade set like the larvikite set you did awhile back? Finally just cabbed that material too, I love it!!!
Reminds me that I enjoy your work and have not seen you post in some time!!! Glad to see you back posting! Amber

Great to see some new stuff! I really love rutile, so I'm a big fan of both rutile pairs. The purple jade is really sweet, too.

They are all gorgeous. The rutile is amazing and the color in the jade is wonderful.

My favorites are the rutiles in the 2nd picture. Great job on all of them.
