not meant as an argument at all.....but have yaw seen it at all?....peoples regrets.....dems or reps......i independant....cannot believe the the flip in attitudes....for voting for obama.
i cannot believe the flip that all of the employees of local mills have made....they have turned 80\20 percent against him....these are working class people that voted for obama....a lot of them are black people that voted on that only.....and are only now learning....now they are saying they regret it badly.
cause they are now hearing they will probably lose there jobs....because of new energy taxes if it happens....and so on.
dont jump on me for what i know what im hearing....these are real people with real families....obama is scaring them badly....all these mill people want..... is a lasting job....as they have had for years.
anybody else seeing a tilt?....i sure am seeing it....people around have turned with a vengance....kev.

Pretty scary things happening now all right! And the anti war and pro legalizing hooter weed crowd who voted for him ain't loving him much neither. Unions who supported him are in for a rude awakening too and folks aren't feeling very safe form terrorists he's turning loose. Too bad hindsight is such an exact science and too bad the republicans couldn't come up with a viable candidate to give folks a good voting alternative.....Mel

Yea, I like the way he campaigned saying he was going to end the war in iraq within 18 months or something like that. He will. But he's going to start a new one In Afganistan!!
This country hasn't seen anything yet. Hold on to you're hats folks!! It's getting worse by the day!

The good news is he'll be a one term president. The bad news is it'll take a long time to fix the mess he created.

Obama is nothing more than a figure-head who signs the packages of B.S. that are placed in front of him. The problem we have is the elected officials we sent to Washington to represent us. Our Congress and Senate are pretty much controlled by big business, absolute power and greed When the $hit starts sliding downhill, he gets the big bucks for being the fall guy Not trying to start an argument here, I simply have my own ideas as to where and what is causing this countries problems. O.K. , enough ranting from Iowa. I'll shut up Peace

i aint gonna argue bout nothing ;D...just conversing bout what the mill folks are saying....and they are scared of the proposed energy taxes....and they should be.....the higher ups have told them...if it comes to pass they will shut the mill down.
i sat and ate with these workers for the last 3 days during lunch....i dont add much input at all....just mostly listen....and today was basically slamming the senate and congress for even allowing such to get to obama to sign......then it turned to.....why would obama sign it...if it was going to hurt them.{the mill workers}.
most of these mill workers were first time voters....they just followed a path of others.....now they are at least trying to learn what they voted for...and most are not liking what they see...most didnt know any better.
i will be there tomorrow also....i will probe a little to see if any understands cap and trade.....and i mean lightly....kev.

I am even more for Obama now than ever before. He is doing a great job lifting us out of the Economic Mess created over the past decade or so.
It is so refreshing to see someone care about people again; not just the super rich, but all the people.
It is refreshing to see someone who actually cares; that's the bottom line here.

Personally - and this is my own opinion, everyone is entitled to their own... but to ME, Nationalizing private business is not fixing the economy. Obama is, in MY opinion, re creating our country into a socialist, or even communist country by his alarming actions. The economy is not the only thing at stake here. Our very freedom is hanging in the balance. The economy is simply the tool he is using to push us in that direction.
A free market will heal itself WITHOUT government intervention. People are smarter than the government would have us believe.
I did NOT vote for Obama, but many of those I have talked to who did are now VERY worried about what they have done!

i didnt get to hang out with them the other day....i had to leave before lunch.
someone please point to where obama is helping people without drowning others....the only help i see at this time is giving extra unemployment benefits of 25 bucks a week....to bad there is a lot of fraud involved in that.....dont include....illegals and dead beat welfare reciepiants....my mind can be changed ;D
all i see is more people losing there jobs.....1.5 million over the last 60 days.....i dont consider that improving....but maybe im wrong....and the mill workers were seeing the same thing....at least they were made aware of there probable layoffs in advance....and discussing it.
i didnt start this to bash obama,,,,it was cause of what i was hearing from real life obama voters.....that are now regretting what they helped do.
the only reason I BELIEVE that the housing numbers rose slightly.... was because of investors purchasing housing to take advantage of the extra money the gov is giving to the welfare system....they can rent to low income folks .....and the gov pays them well.
the market also went up a little on the news that the financial institutions were not going to have to totally include all bad debts in there earnings reports.....basicly hiding them in the paper work....the debt is still there....just hiding it from investors.
small increase in housing and financial folks being able fudge reports will make the market go up...i think...but thats just my opinion
at least it looks like the cap and trade will be shot down....maybe all the letters and emails paid off.....but knowing pelosi and reid...they will find another way....kev.
