I got it on a dig at Graves Mtn., Ga. It is about 5 mohs and works really great. Easy to work and takes a great polish. Just have to be careful if there are big chunks of pyrite in it, they will fall out about the time you start polishing it. Normally it doesn't have lazulite crystals this big in it. They are normally a lot smaller. Found a small softball sized rock with these in it. Normally find 500 lb. boulders to break up to get it.

I was going to ask where you had the boulder stashed with the big crystals . Those are some of the biggest I have seen. Keith

Really cool material. I like the blue pieces spread around and the sparkle I bet looks neat under lighting. Those are some nice ones. Thanks for sharing.

That is a really cool material and you did a bang up job cabbing it. Interesting how those blue crystals from in that quartz.
