Hi all....did a few cabs of Wiggins Fork opalized wood...great looking material but tricky to cab, extremely delicate and brittle, and the mix of agate and opal makes it cut and polish at different rates...but fun to see the results... This is my favorite, I think it turned out the best.... Here are the rest from the same material...

yeah, typical Wyoming spring weather, huh? We need the moisture, but I'm tired of being snowed in... Oh well, at least I get some cabbing and tumbling done...

From the looks of those cabs, you'd never know that was a fussy material to work. They all great!

From the looks of those cabs, you'd never know that was a fussy material to work. They all great! Most of those cabs were supposed to be larger, but as they chipped and pieces broke off them while I was working them they got progressively smaller and different shaped... You can see some small chips on the large round one and the larger trinity shaped one next to it....

Fantastic group of pet wood cabs. I always found some pet wood difficult to work but you did a great job. What part of WY you hale from, I used to live south of you in CO and know the winters and spring storms could be relentless.
