I need help in deciding how to cut a cab. The slab is thick enough to barely cut a double cab so that option is a possibility, but not ideal. I can't decide which side should be the front. Can I get your opinions? Thank you for your help! Bob Side 1 Side 2

Both of the faces are beautiful but if you have to choose there's no doubt I think, it's the first one. It looks like a naive painting with a sunset behind those hills.

Man Bob: This is a tough one, what is this material? I like the reds on the first side, and the pink on the second...... I can't stop looking!
OK I guess if it were me I would go with side 1, because it seems to have the most going on. I am the queen of indecisiveness so this answer was probably not much help! LOL!

I too say the first side. I like the pattern of what appears to be a bursting sun on the first. The second side also has nice patterns, but it's still second. So, I'd go with #1.

Me four, side 1. The variation in size and range in color, and the slight off-center focal point makes it more dynamic.
Beautiful, by the way!

Side 1 has my vote. Lots of color, orbs and eyes.

Bob: Since it sounds like it is fairly thick(you say it could maybe cut two cabs), why not polish both sides. It should look really cool with a groove wrap like Adrian does.

Amber, The material is Mexican Crazy Lace. I got it at the Santa Clara Club show last weekend. I got about 5 or 6 more very similar to it, also. The dealer always has some real high quality slabs of old classic material. I rarely can pass by his booth without overspending my slab budget (SHHHHS! Don't let my wife hear this!!!) The dealer is The Agate Gallery out of Prescott Valley, Arizona. Bob

I like side #2, Bob.
- I like the white in the center better than the sunburst amoebas
- the uppermost white band is more pronounced on side #2
(looks like primary light source is on the right side, probably why red end looks stronger in #1 than #2)

Both sides are terrific. It's nice to have material where you have to make such tough choices. I've got to go with side 1, though.

Both sides are beautiful but I think side one will show the best result over all. That is a beautiful piece of crazy lace! Fran
