I was able to do some more fun stuff this weekend...despite the chillier temps! How come it always seems to be...the weekends are cold, rainy and cloudy?!? It was still fun...and I may get out and do some more this afternoon.
First up....Woodward Ranch. (Thanks Ed) The picture doesn't do this one justice. Right where the flash is...there are some really nice black plumes. Sucky Picture...gorgeous stone.
Next up are 2 purples ones. My neighbors wanted me to do something for their friend; whose fav color is purple. I had the PERFECT stone in mind. A beautiful slab of Tiffany Stone (Bertrandite)that Jason had sent me. It was coming along very nicely when all of a sudden it broke right in half. I couldn't just toss it aside and fixed it. You can still see where it broke (hairline crack) but I think I'll still give it to them....maybe as a lucky rock.
I decided to do another one as I couldn't give someone a non-perfect cab. I went with a Royal Aztec Lace...which fortunately for me it didn't break on me. ;D
Lastly...my 1st Noreena Jasper. This ones for a friend I work with. He told me he wanted another necklace...so when I was digging thru my slabs...this one caught my eye. I like the flames effect...but haven't achieved a super polish yet. Any secrets on polishing Noreena? I do know it was a messy stone....but I really liked how it turned out. Just need to get a better polish!
I also trimmed out some new B-Flies. Thought I'd post them here for kicks.
Brazilian Agate
Dino Bone
I enjoy cabbing and playing with rocks so much...I really don't know if any of You can relate! ;D ;D
Thanks for looking.
