... when wrapping cabs? I most certainly do. I'm a total beginner and a total disaster. I kept finding I couldn't do things and keep a good hold on the pliers at the same time until that is I discovered Rubber Bands Just wrap one around the handles of your pliers, hook the end over one of the handles and all stay secure.

Also, Harbor Freight has some carpenters wooden clamps with the double screw so it clamps equal pressure for about $5. Ken

Hi RT,
There was a thread like this a few years ago and I was sent two clamps from US
There is a small rubber jawed clamp available that cost about $1 I think that works excelently
However that Idea of yours is realy good
