i had an order for 800 pcs of brass pipe 4" long....the guy cutting them has worked for us a few years....but he got tired of hauling them from the saw to the belt sander to deburr them. i was walking thru the shop....and he was talking about how much of a pain in the rear it was to take them to the sander to get the burrs off....so being a smart ass....i said your a smart guy....find an easier way to do it....ill be darned if he didnt ;D. when i went back thru.....he done and went and taped a grinder to a cinder block ;D....they fall off the computer saw....and he gets the burrs off.....all i could do was smile and shake my head ;D....i gonna go wait for my grinder to burn up tommorow ;D....kev. click

Or just buy him a bench grinder for about 1/3 the price of a hand grinder.
Inspire him ... tell him if he keeps thinking like that you'll be forced to give him a raise.

Looks like he has the idea. We have the grinder right next to the saw. They cut, it's picked up and deburred, put it the crate and when the next on is cut ........... Efficent.
