Holy Moly!!! You found some great stuff!!! Man I am drooling all over that royal velvet and rainbow obsidian, the graveyard is especially nice too. What are the white things at the top (r ) of the first pic? Also the pic jasper in Succor creek, what is that called? I can never tell the difference beteween Biggs, Royal Sahara and Deschutes? ?? Looks like you had a blast!!! Amber

The green with the white border, is that the Graveyard Point? That would make some serious cabs for a necklace.

The white edged T eggs slabs at the top are Jasper filled eggs from White Fir Springs in the Ochoco's, the picture jasper is Deschutes from Elkins rock Shop, and the green/res material with the white plume is from Graveyard Point we found as float whilst trying to find Catmandue's claim. The darker obsidian is silver sheen, but I did not get a good angle to show the sheen. Woody

Hey Woody.... Thanks for the tips on the rainbow pit you found not too far from the cow pond.... I checked it out and got in serious trouble! I removed one piece which I'm guessing is around 40# ish range and after busting rear for 4 hours I had to leave a piece of rainbow for someone else which is around the 100# range? Possibly more as I believe it was hooked to the mountain. If someone spends a couple more hours they'll have a outstanding rock!
It was a fun hot trip... Dug the original rainbow pit, pumpkin patch, midnight lace, the rainbow you mentioned and some goldsheen. Last night we had a nice lightning storm and it actually rained during the night... Worked great as it kept the dust down today.
Thanks for the note! Gonna go relax now... I'm whooped~!

Woody, those slabs are amazing and I love those little eggs. I just cut one open and found the greatest surprise. I didn't know where it came from either but now I do.
