This is a big Wonderstone that I recently took in trade. I don't have a scale that goes high enough to weigh it, but I'm guessing it's 15-20 pounds. As you can see in the first pic, it just barely fits in a flat rate box in each dimension. I'll be packing a variety of the other stuff that I sell all around it, to fill the box, including a chunk of the "Brimstone" which you can see in this thread. It's $25, including free Priority Mail shipping within the continental US (I pay the $10.35). Make your payment to my PayPal account, groovatism@hotmail.com, THEN PM me to let me know you've made the purchase, so that I can mark the lot as SOLD. If you live outside the continental US and wish to buy, please contact me before paying so that the shipping cost can be calculated. You can use your credit or debit card to pay through PayPal without having to sign-up for a PayPal account. Also, I will accept US Postal Money Orders and personal checks. I'm a bit nervous about doing it, but I'm going on trust, so please be nice.

Hey there MJ, Is this stuff as nice as it looks? Any idea how it works up? Fractures, etc?

It looks very solid. I only noticed one fracture, and it's near a side, not through the middle. It's Wonderstone, so it's not as hard as quartz-based rocks, but it's a common cabbing material. This piece will make a lof of big slabs. I was surprised that it's size JUST fit in the flatrater box!

Ah shoot. Ya got me. I can't resist. I have a real weakness for this stuff. Consider it sold. I'll put money in your paypal acct right away. If you stick in a piece of that green rock you show in the box of tumbling mix, I'll try to get it ID'd for you. I'm going to have to sell some of my rock this winter. I'll never live long enough to do all this.
Thanks a bunch MJ JoAnne

SOLD to aunuts.
Thank you again, JoAnne! I'll have a look around and see if I can find any more of that green stuff, but odds aren't too good.

my WiFi USB adapter bit the dust & I just got back up & running. Got the box with the wonderstone. Absolutely awesome. And thanks for the wonderful chrysocolla and other materials you added. The wonderstone will have to wait 'til fall when we head to AZ where my slab saws are, but can't wait to play with the smaller stuff.
Thanks so much MJ, Jo

Hey there MJ, I finally managed to pull that chunk of wonderstone out & get a really good look at it. WOW!!! Everybody that didn't think they wanted it - neener, neener, neener. That stuff is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!! I'd put off looking at it wet, because I know I won't be able to get it cut until this fall when we go south for the winter. After seeing that, I'm ready to go now! Thanks so much. BTW, that "brimstone" you put in there is going to be something special.
Take care, Jo

Glad you like the wonderstone. Although I have very little experience with wonderstone, it looked real nice to me. It'll be great to see what it looks like sliced, once you get back to your big saw. I have another huge chunk of it, but it's way too big for a large flatrater and I'm afraid I'll ruin it if I bust it up.
That "brimstone" is some strange stuff. I never saw anything like it. I only have one little chunk left. I've sent some out to several people, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it works-up. I hope it doesn't undercut too badly. I definately wouldn't recommend putting it in a tumbler.

no worries about the tumbler. I hand polish all my cabs. I've got a 45 lb tumbler, but I only use it for scraps & other stuff. Hate to miss any rock without polishing it. I think I can cut the smallest brimstone with my wf, so will be able to work it up & post some pics. PLEASE don't break up that wonderstone. Maybe we can work out a deal this fall. How's that sound? Unless you have a chance to sell it at a good price before that. Wouldn't want you to miss out on some good $$$. Jo
