... with awesome inclusions! Found this new stuff in my collecting area recently. Only found a small amount, and I've looked and looked, but can't seem to find any more of it. But you can bet your eyelashes I'm gonna keep tryin'! The first two are from the same piece of rock, found on a gravel bank, lookin' up at me. (was really hard to get good pics, thanks to NorthShoreRocks for helping me, I got these) It's a glassy moonstone structure with chatoyant inclusions. Then I began digging and came up with a couple more pieces producing the next two cabs. There was material attached that was opaque with metallic patterning, was soft and easy to work (felt like Malachite). Shined up great! Just thought I'd share my wild new find. Thanks for lookin! Jo

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh jo. those are very cool. They remind me of graveyard plume where you can see cool things inside. Great colors.

Thanks Randy, believe it or not, the fourth one is the natural shape of the material in that particular stone. Jo

The second one really shows the moonstone structure well. That last one looks almost like a septarian nodule the way the light is against that dark!

Jo, those cabs are stunning. With all the beauties that you have posted, I wonder if the rockhounding in PA has increased. I'm not joking. You really have found gorgeous rocks and brought them to an incredable shine. Have to go look at your other pic now.

Nice find. There's got to be more around there. Can't imagine only those pieces. Hope you find more.
