An unknown. Coral from Jamie. Picture jasper. 3 views of a nice Koroit opal. Moonstone from Jo. This stuff has a great flash but I couldn't get it to photograph...it's as elusive as moonlight Confetti chrysocolla from Jamie. Two views. The more I work it the more I like it! And a favorite Koroit opal. I love this type of patterning...with the swirls outlined in black. Thanks. Tony

Boy Tony,
You have been very busy today! I love all of these and the 3 views of your BO really show everything so well! Fran

First of all Tony, your BO is wonderful! I guess I should be saying Koroit, but what's the fun in that? Ahhh, that elusive moonstone sheen... no wonder it is my traditional birthstone... fits me to a T... I only shine when I'm good and ready, LOL!
Hey Tony, maybe you need to sweet talk that moonstone some more.

Yeah Tony, Your BO smells so PERRTY! The 1st BO is tops....and I like the 1st agate as well. It looks similar to Owyhee Jasper but it also looks like a waterline in agate. Whatever it is...it's cool! Steve

Great cabs Tony, love the Koroit. I think moonstone flash is imposible to catch in a photo, try a short video of it. Easy to get the flash that way.

Wow Tony! Although they are all great - Love the three views of the flash in that opal - the first one, the unknown, is really stunning. Great work as always.

Beautiful cabs, but of course the BO's eclipse the others. They would had eclipsed anything.

Really nice group there Tony. Your koroits are beautiful. That confetti chrysocolla is pretty stuff although I'm not sure why they call it chrysocolla as it doesn't seem to have any blue in it.

Wow! Gorgeous stuff! Is there a glossary on this board that will tell me what terms like "BO" mean without my having to bother you guys in every thread? Thanks (and sorry!) Carrie

Many thanks, ya'll Glad that, like me, you don't tire of opal, lol. Carrie.... it stands for boulder opal. A lot of this comes out of nodules with a hard ironstone matrix while some comes in pitty, porus, crumbly mud matrix. Comes from Queensland, Australia and is called Koroit boulder opal. In my case...as long as they say they like my bo it is good Tony...I think they are finding this around where they get the other. But I may be naming it wrong from misunderstanding. T
