Don't know if this has ever been brought up before... I was just reading a book in which it was mentioned there have been occurrences of rocks raining out of the sky! Seemingly from nowhere, just falling out of the sky by the bucketfulls! Can you imagine? One event was in Chico, CA in 1921 where small rounded rocks, local rocks, fell out of the sky like rain... and there was no airplane or anything in site. And this wasn't the only place/ time it's happened. Here's a link I found about it: www.subversiveelement.com/skyfallsStones.htmlHas anyone ever heard about this? Does anyone know if there has been a reason found for this? Does anyone have any ideas of their own how this phenomena could have occurred?

I had heard of FISH falling from the sky, but apparently it could be the same phenomenon...apparently a tornado elsewhere dropped fish (or rocks or frogs) in a different location. I googled - fish falling from the sky - and found all sorts of other reports. Entertaining, reading isn't it? Barb

When I was at San Diego State (early sixties) several small water spouts pick up anchovies, and 'rained' them over San Diego all the way to the college campus....about ten miles inland. Rather have fish dropped on me than rocks Woody
