Has anyone had any experience using one? How do they rate for cutting pendants out of slabs?Also, where can i get some Mary Ellen Jasper slabs.All help is appreciated.

I have a Gryphon from John at jsgems and I love it! You dont have much waste per slab and can cut the preforms close. Keith

Patience is a virtue with them as the ones I've used are a tad slow at cutting, but worth the time for the end product.

I had one once. It cut rather slowly and the blade dulled too soon. I found it to be a PITA so I traded it off. Bob

I got the Gryphon with a fusers blade for faster cutting. Still slow compared to 3400 RPM tile saw, but what isn't.
