You are right Tony..we can both find info supporting each other arguments...LOL..hard to beat that ya know..lets just bring up my point about the warm period 1,000 years go "The late 20th century warmth, at hemispheric or global scales, appears, from a number of recent peer-reviewed studies, to exceed the peak warmth of the “Medieval Warm Period”. they say it is probably warmer now than the medieval warm period. The point is it was still much warmer back then than normal with no influence by Man. hypothetically speaking lets say it is the year 1000 A.D. the enviro's would be screaming the same argument they are today. It's getting warmer and warmer but with no fossil fuels, no hydrocarbons..how do you or they explain that..Man is not influencing the climate..it's a natural occurence..if it can get just as hot or almost as hot with ZERO influence by Man then how do you explain that..if we start to head into an ice age, which has happened..what 10 times in the last million years, then the enviro's would be saying "oh it's the CFC's blocking sun from reaching the ground so it's cooling the planet" or something like that....heck in the Jurassic or Cretacous period average global temps were 15 degrees higher than now..if it's happened before then it might happen again regardless of Man's influence or not...just one super volcanic eruption could thrust earth into a multi -decade ice age completely reversing any influence man has on the earth..one strong el nino occurance can raise average global temp by one degree..it took Man a century to do that.
Here is another tid-bit of info I found that Neal boortz had posted "Glaciers are retreating! Did you know that! Yup, retreating! It's that pesky climate change thing. But something rather odd is happening as the glaciers retreat. We finding evidence of civilization where those glaciers once stood! In Switzerland they're finding silver mines. That's right, silver mines. As the glacier retreats they're finding the mine shafts and the mining tools stacked up and waiting ... waiting for the mine workers to return as the winter snows melted. It seems that one year those winter snows didn't actually melt. Then year upon year passed and the snows grew deeper. Finally, a glacier. It was the little ice age! Now the little ice age is ending, the glaciers retreating, and evidence of civilization emerging where we've known nothing but ice. We're also finding water management structures built by man where glaciers are retreating elsewhere. In other words .. yes, it's warmer. One whole degree in the last 100 years. But we've been there before. Warmer than this. And we did it without SUVs and the industrial revolution.
Oh yea read this..some of the latest info to come in ..hard to disagree with experts when most of your(not you but "your" as in general pop.) info has been gotten from the media
