Well .... got home and immediately went outside to cut up the forms that I drew last night.
Did not get as much done as I wanted to.
There were a few pieces, quartz crystal I think ... kept chipping and shattering. And some of the other stuff was pretty hard ... had some sparkage, but I just backed off a little, not pushing as hard and it became manageable.
I am really comfortable with this thing now and need to not get too cocky until I have the right.
I have also discovered ;D that I can only cut in a straight line right now. I tried curves and the blade kept getting hung up.
I did cut up a small amount of green stuff. ;D One of these days I will learn to ID the stuff on sight. When I tumble and finish stuff and see it, I can then ID it.
Oh well ...
All in all, and great shower in the backyard.
I have another bowl of goodies to try to slice and dice tomorrow night and YAY!! it's Friday!!!!
As always

Sounds like you had some fun cutting. don't try to do curves. It is best to do strait lines and then trim little sections off all the way around a preform. You can go against the side of the blade lightly as you rotate the preform to grind off the excess once it is cut out roughly. That should keep you from getting too much breakage. Sometimes it just can't be helped though. Fran
