I finished these up tonight. I was too excited to wait to take pics outside so I took them in my rock shed. From left to right... ![](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y265/rockminer0/DSCF8082.jpg) Biggest cab to date. Brazilian Agate. Last rock club meeting I was challenged to do a 3" cab...so i took the challenge and attempted. It's tough to do...and I seriously need more practice with the bigger cabs. Willow Creek re-do. ![](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y265/rockminer0/DSCF7803.jpg) This one turned out much better than I would have thought. I played with different materials for quite sometime....and I really liked the idea of silver...but I don't do silver work. So...i had a piece of fiber optics material that I've never used. I tested it on my wheels and it turned silver. Messy as all heck...but it's silver. The middle stone is Rainbow Obsidian that I recieved from Ed. In the sunlight this one is just too freakin' cool. Maybe I'll post a video to capture the rainbow in the stone. I'm a Happy Camper with this one. ;D I re-shaped the stone as well. Lastly...another Brazilian with almost a tigers eye effect. Thanks for looking! Off to Idaho Monday for the week. I'll be visiting with Our Friend Tony! steve

WOW, Steve I'm speech-less! Man , if you could enhance this way all your broken cabs, it would be good to break all of them on purpose. The other ones are also beauties, but that redo is in a class of its own. Just like you are ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Adrian

I think we should all send our broken cabs to Steve! The fibre optics sure looks like silver. If you had not shown us the broken cab before the 'fix' we would have thought this was well executed piece designed from the git go. Woody

Steve: That WIllow Creek is sensational! I am sending you all my broken cabs, LOL!!!! Great job and thought on trying that!!! The large ones look super and I agree the bigger the cab the harder it is to cab them and it all the surfaces, especially when we only have 6x1 1/2 wheels, that is why I really want an 8 x3 expando drum to use for the bigger cabs! I can't wait to see you!!!!! Amber

Well, I did not think the broken one would look good with a trim but you know, It has lost nothing at all and you only amplified its beauty! What a great use of materials and the others? WOW! I love them both! Fran

Wow! I was looking at the re-do and wondering how you wrapped that silver around it and got it flush with the stone. It's beautiful! The other 2 aren't nothing to cry about either! Thanks for showing them!
