I had a great time today!!!
First and Foremost!!! I need to say thank you again to Nature!!!
Your videos helped me so much ... that I was able to do a couple of little curvers, but the best part was using the saw as a trim. I was able to (for the most part) round the corners and bevel the edges. This has saved me some serious time working with the Gryphon. This I will use for the grooving.
And .... it is becoming more fun to saw than a challenge!!
I finished cutting up all the stuff I showed pictures off with the forms (the rest of goodies from Fran). I ended up with 33 more pieces. Now .... most of the pieces are great ... however there are a few little oddballs.
I also tried to cut up the moss again. Dang .... this is a bit of tough stuff.
I also started working on the pet wood/opalized wood/opalized limb cast (would love a clear ID on these three). These are really hard pieces. I would think 7-8. Even with the water filled up and my pushing ever so slowly, it was a battle. I finally gave up for another day on these. I love these pieces though. I do not know why?
Once I finished my goal of all the goodies that I got from Fran .... WOOF .... they are going to be so pretty ... I continued on with the wicker basket I had filled up with some neat stuff from Nature. I cut it all up for tumble.
Once done with that stuff, I worked on tumbling rough from the batch of the four rocks from Nature.
A little over 2 hours and I accomplished more today than I have since I started learning to use the saw.
As always guys!!! BIG THANKS
