I got a few done Monday.I'm working at getting the girdles and domes right. Here's how they came out. I think this is called Copco agate,I love this stuff. This came from my favorite ebay dealer out in Utah This was in the box of Boysenberry jasper I got from Michael John, the lower left side looks like most of the jasper did but the rest of the cab almost looks like dino bone This is some local quartzy stuff we collected at my favorite beach The next two are some Montana Hope you enjoy them,Mike

They all look great and I love the shapes you have! I think I really like the second one best. The color and pattern in the stone look fantastic with that shape! Fran

Great work Mike! The local quartzy one is funky cool, being self collected is awesome. But I do have to say I like the copco best.

Good stuff, Mike! I like that Copco - it looks way different than anything I've seen so far. Nice cabs, all of them.

That is a great set of cabs. Boy you really put a point on that Quartzy beach cab. I love the Montanas and my fav is the cab from MJ's material. It is so interesting to look at.

Mary Ann,You were right,I went and checked my ebay and found out the last two cabs are made from rocks that were listed as "Prairie agates from Fairburn area".I do need to get my rocks organized, when I get a box in the mail I head right for the saw and before I know it I lose track of what I'm cutting.Maybe I need to be chained up until I get my rocks labeled. ;D
