rhodinite (all 3 are from the same slab.. spectrolite, I think Green Imperial jasper Pyrite Jeff

Kind of partial to the rhodonite triangle and the imperial. Nice.

You caught the blue flash in the spectralite quite well. They all are very nice. The pyrite is interesting - was it difficult to cab? I haven't tried any, but in my imagination, it seems like it would tend to be crumbly. The Imperial is beautiful, and of course, rhodonite is one of my very favorites. Ya Done Good, Jeff!

Tom, the pyrite is very messy to cut..tends to stain the fingers, so I usually wear gloves....depends on how good the material is as afr as crumbling goes..this one was solid..there is a small "divot" where a crystal popped out towards the final stages..hard to see in the picture but it sort of adds some depth to the cab..

those are very nice. Whats the difference between spectrolite or labradorite? The green jasper is favorite........

mary Ann, Off the top of my head, I think the main difference between labradorite and spectrolite is that spectrolite is random planes of flash, as opposed to labrodorite being more organized with the flash planes more or less in the same direction...
