Thanks I really like 5 agate it a Blacks Hills except for the leopard skin all are my local stuff for backing I use obsidian,jasper polka dot and other and local duds aka no agate.Thanks Steve I feel like I'm catching up...Roger

Gotta say I agree with Mel.....#5 is awesome. Love those deep rich colors. The intarsia is so cool, bet that takes a lot of time to do!

Those are wonderful and looks like you already have some on wire ready to wear. I love 3 & 4 but that last one has such a neat pattern in the middle and the outside stone really makes it jump out.

Thanks I love making this stuff.Randy I core drill a small slab then I hand grind the circle in the center.I then opticon the whole thing on another slab.Let dry then cut,grind and polish. Good luck Roger

Do you core drill with a dremel? The only core drilling that I've done is through concrete (for handicap signs in parking lots and such) ...where do you get the bits from?

Check out jadecarver.com under the diamond tools.I use a hand drill it took a while to get it right.
