Howdy folks, Here are a bunch of pics from the sale I went to yesterday. Most these are good sized slabs. Lots more to follow. Thanks for looking....Mel Arizona Picture wood: Close up of detail of another piece. I've already started a cab from this stuff: Different wood. Lady said Wyoming but I'm thinking the rest this wood is from northern Nevada or Washington. Looks like Saddle Mountain stuff to me. More nice dendritic wood. The bulk of the boxes I bought was this stuff. Three nice fortified slabs of crazy lace all of a size for one large cab: Nice old timey black crazy lace. Haven't seen any this good for years. Texas Palm fiber: big slabs of this More palm: This looks to be old time Laguna moss. Best slab of this I've ever had: Texas Red Moss: An example of the small pieces of flame in this lot and another black lace: Actually this moss from west Texas looks better in person, kind of brownish green on translucent black agate

Karock: Best way to find these sales is to let it be known among your circle of friends that you're a rock collecting oddball. Then when someone sees rocks somewhere for sale, they just naturally think of that other oddball who likes rocks. Notice on this one came from the seller to a local cactus club- to the ranch garden club-to my wife's walking buddy-to my wife-to me *L*....Mel

Geeze, all we find here at sales is old toys and worn out furniture lol. These are stunning Mel. That square cab is awesome already!
