Holy smokes Susan, those are great looking cabs. My favorite is the one with the orbs. Did you cab that material raw or did you treat it first to stabilized it?.......Mel

Wow, Susan, those are all terrific! Are they all chrysocolla? I love the colors.

These are all AZ copper minerals with Chrysacolla...
The piece Mel described as "with orbs" and the softly faceted black piece, I believe, is a material Jamie used to call "Surrealite". Very soft, but very cool.
I didn't treat any of the material...don't know if J did...the slabs varied widely in hardness...but MAN I love working with her material!
Can't wait to get 'em wrapped. ::)S

Wow, those look fantastic. My favorite is definitely the orbed piece. Some of that stuff is really hard and some is really soft, the black matrix it forms in is like cryptonite. The faceted cab is a material that was extremely hard to work with but the combination of colors were like nothing I had ever seen before. We called that stuff chrysocolla exotica. Beautiful cabs you did Susan, very nice.

Nice looking cabs. I just got a box of misc. stuff from Jamie and it has some chrysocolla in there. Can't wait to dig in to it.

The cabs look great by themselves. Can't imagine what they will look like when wrapped - esp the orbed one. Karock

These are so beautiful. The reds and the blues are such a striking mix. I love looking at them over and over and over again. Especially the orby one and the last one.
