Good work. But the last (tube) takes the prize for me.

I had lots of the turkish onyx but when i bought it, they called it dendritci opal from turkey, i guess its the same difference. Makes beautiful cabs. Ralph used it all up except for 1 small slab of it. I do have another one but its thin. I loved the stuff.

My fav is the Tubey Agate! I don't think I've ever seen Youngite cabbed....too bad I just sold a big hunk on e-bay. Great Saturday morning cabs. Steve

The opalite is the dendritic opal from turkey I got from stonesthatrock. I've cut a few cabs from the piece already and there are more cabs left. The material is medium hardness, cuts easily, but doens't require a really soft touch.
Youngite is one of my favorites and I have a hard time finding the kind I like which has white mixed in with the darker color and that I can work around/with the vugs and botroidal parts.
