I have a few slabs done. These are agate from the ranch and I was able to get them sawed. First slabes One in the sun Second slabes One in the sun Third Slabs One in the sun This winter I hope it snows a ton, as you can see I have my work cut out for me. Thank you in advance for looking Tom

These are incredible! I had to do an internet search to find out a little more about Montana agates.
It said they were alluvial agates. Are the nodules simply transported by rivers and you scratch through river gravels to find them?

At this point in my budding career as a rock addict, Montana is my very favoritest stone, and here you are, showing me the equivalent of a tub of the best Baskin Robbins, and I can't touch it! LOL!

Very pretty slabs. That 5th one almost looks like it has an iris effect.

Great agates,Montana has some of the best rock hunting in the world I think. Did and do most of my rockhunting in the central and eastern part of the state............ Again great cuts,congrads..............
