As I said before, love the patterns and colors of the fairburns.

Love the fairburns, the intarsia looks like it must have been difficult - all those angle cuts! And the tiger eye looks like it has a LOT of flash. But if you don't want those last 2, you can send it (them?) to me - I like them!

These are really pretty. Where do you find your rocks? Do you purchase them from the net, or are you graced with a prime location to take a walk around?

Spectacular fairburns again! The intarsia is very nice too. Definitely looks like a lot of work. I love the labradorite!

The fifth one down looks like a good candidate for the halloween contest. Sure looks like a goblin or a ghost!

Love the banding in the Tiger Eye, the others are nice too. The Intarsia looks like a major ordeal in time - like how much? Karock

Beautiful work! I love your accidental posts as well as the intarsia and well, all the others. I see what free4rms means about the 5th one. It is a pretty awesome (happy) ghost. Fran

I hoped someone would else see that ghost thats my halloween surprize. The Tiger Iron is really amazing I just traded for a slice. The Black Hills Fairburns agates are all ones I pick up or dug up.The intarsia start out as a stack of misc.saw ends.I cut at an angle. Then I super glue then opticon then grind. It takes a couple days but is worth it.Thanks ...Roger

Like your fairburns. We spent Labor day weekend at the Crawford swap, actually most of the time was spent bending over, looking and turning over rocks. Found one good one, but we seem to have quite a few small ones. Figured that it takes picking up four to five thousand rocks, for one good fairburn. Just lots of patience and bending.
