Yeah! I love what I can do with it! I've already had a couple friends over playing on it. Now I need to get some DOP wax and stuff because stones were flying all over the place Saturday when we were playing. Two nearly finished peices broke, causing quite a bit of grief. Any leads on a place to get the stuff needed to DOP? Thanks.

Like has been said, it takes a looong time to wear out a HP machine. We can all see that you are already making it earn its keep. Now, saying that, the feedscrew on my HP saw wore out. When I called Diamond Pacific for a replacement, I found out my saw was one of the first 20 inch saws HP made, so no replacement, and I had to have one made. Considering the feedscrew runs in a hostile environment (i.e gritty oil) it only took about 50 or so years to wear out. Woody

I would imagine that HP stands for Highland Park. That was a good machine back in it's day. $300, nothing wrong with that. Bob

Congrats ! All my equipment is HP from the 70's. It may be old, but it is the best quality available still today. It will last many lifetimes.

Use super glue and nails or dowels for dopping. Pour baking soda on the superglue to set it instantly. Freeze with dowels or heat with nails to remove the dop from the cab.
Have a great day.............Tony
