Been practicing my Ovals for the Halloween Competition. Here's the Ovals I've been working on for a little while and finished them up this weekend. I also have quite a few I chose for the Halloween Contest because of colors or patterns...but of course only entered my fav! Unknown but thought it reminded me of flames..(kind of ) Unknown but thought it looked like the depths of hell. Colors of Fall in this one...but I didn't do the stone justice. Needs to be re-worked. Dryhead Agate Another candidate for the contest because of the colors. This is a Laguna I recieved from Sweet Amber One of my FAVS! I really wanted to enter this one but decided not to. Almost flawless Laguna! A small purple Laguna. Another small pink and purple Laguna Finally....a new Echostones. Of course...Laguna! Thanks for looking. I posted my Halloween Cab in the contest section. Steve

Very pretty cabs, Steve - I like all of them, but my faves have to be #1 and #6. I'm kinda like Amber - very fond of purples and reds.

That teardrop in the last pic is my fav. I haven't tried the double domes yet, but I have some stuff we collected this summer I want to try it with.

Fantastic batch Steve. If I had to pick favorites, they'd be the purple Laguna triangle and the incredible oval above it but all are really nice. I've seen that second stone type labeled both red lightning stone and coprolite. It does seem to be in little lumpy nodules but I'm not sure if either identification is correct. I've seen Utah listed as the location and as you know, coprolite is definitely known for the area....Mel

Beautiful cabs! My favorite is the "small purple Laguna", the depth is amazing. The oval Laguna is another jaw dropper and I'm sure the "fall colors" will join the club after reworking.

You know Steve, I was going through the list so I could tell you which were my favorites and there are just too many! That dryhead may need to be reworked according to you but it is beautiful already and the rest well they are all perfect! Fran
