Hi everyone, Here is a local pet wood. I picked it from the Danube River bank. It already had a natural flat face which I polished. Unfortunately, only the darker areas took a good polish, the whitish areas are softer (see the reflection difference in the 2nd photo). But I still like the scenery in this piece of pet wood. And I also like the fact it stays in this display position naturally: Thanks for looking, Adrian

That's a very nice piece of wood. Pretty cool to have a lot of the work done for you, eh? You did a nice job with the polish.

Very cool...we have a very similar looking wood that can be found here in WY, and it's the same, the darker parts seem to polish better....

Nice wood, nicely polished. I think it would also look pictoral if you turned it 180 degrees.
