Hi,
I bought today some chunks of Lapis Lazulli from a local fair, some guys from Pakistan sold them.
It's pretty exy and so I'd hate to ruin it, so would you please tell here if there's any special trick/demand in cabbing Lapis.
Thank you, Adrian

Don't have a tip for you, but is the stuff you bought with or without pyrite?

Very nice pieces. I've cabbed it with good success. It is soft, but takes a great polish.
Forgot to mention, I polish it with diamond paste on canvas pads taking special care to not get it too hot.

Thank you Dan! I don't use diamond paste too much, I use diamond pads and I'll try this way. If it won't work, I'll use the diampnd paste.

Lapis with pyrite is my favorite, it makes some beautiful cabs! It is soft, so just go easy on it. There's really no trick to cabbing it. I got some from Fran and some from Amber, made some awesome cabs!!
