Dan: Firstly, I believe the third cab may well be a Halloween cab since I see a ghost that strongly resembles the cabber. Secondly, I really like obsidian in its so varied forms, and this group is truely outstanding. Thank you for posting this group! Woody

Obsidian is one of my favs and you have some great examples of its variety there. Your shape and shine is perfect as usual. Any idea of the sources and names of the different varieties?

What an amazing display of varieties of obsidian! Those are all outstanding cabs, and you caught the colors and sheen extremely well. Nice job.

Outstanding, as always! My favorites are the bikini shape and the third one. The colors in the 8th one are unbelievable.

These are all from Glass Buttes. There are Red Ribbon, Gold Sheen, Banded and Fire obsidian examples. The cabs look better in person.

Not a big fan of obsidian, except for knapping, but I've got to admit your cabs are pretty freaking fantastic!.....Mel
