Here is the first set by my wife Kathy of Tahoma cabs from the preforms I posted a few days back. some of theseI are biscuit cut which gives the orby patterns. will reshoot these when the new camera arrives that will actually focus on macros. These shots are the best my Olympus will do. Anyhow, enjoy. Woody, for Kathy A single cab as clos as would focus The rough Mossyrockhound (the claim owner) on the claim. Please not the trees since I tilted the camera and made the groung look more level.....it is acutally close to sixty degree slope.

Well, I have no idea what a "biscuit cut" is, but man, those are some really striking cabs! Gorgeous material, nice shapes, great finish. WTG, Kathy!

Tom: A biscuit cut is with a direction of the vein. Many Tahoma veins are narrow so would make a very skinny cab if cross cut. Jo: Tahoma is the First Nations name for Mount Rainier, also known locally as 'the mountain' ,and it not far from Seattle. Here is a shot of Mount Rainier

Gorgeous Cabs Kathy!!! You did Fantatsic. Love your scenery shots Woody....especially the one where the digging is taking a place. You couldn't ask for a prettier spot to be digging rocks, Steve

Dang she is doing a great job. She must have a good teacher. That looks like some really tough work to get the Tahoma. Makes me appreciate what I have that much more.
