Looks like they turned out great! Just remember about using your dust mask when working shells. Don't want any damaged lungs! Fran

You are so right Fran, thanks for reminding me and everyone about something so important. I did think of it before I started to work them, but ended up not using one on account of our site was on the edge of the sound and the wind was blowing. So windy in fact, that I had to keep all my plastic bags, towels and empty water containers in their crate with the lid secured. This is the view from our campsite. See what I mean, LOL.

I like the cabs! My favorite is the pink one. Is that fish in the ladt pic the one that sits on the bottom of the sea, buries itself in the sand when in danger and has both eyes on the top side? We also have that kind of fish, here. It's very good, once you get rid of the thorns in its skin.

Yes, that's exactly the fish, a flounder. We marinated it in Italian dressing and then fried it in a pan. It was very good. What is your favorite way of cooking it?

We just fry it and add lemon or garlic.

Great idea on the cabs, Jo! They turned out really nice and it looks like you had a wonderful day collecting the shells. Garry

Seashells! Who woulda thunk it? Those turned out really nice, Jo - and it gives one pause to think that we could use something besides rocks in our hobby!

Those look great, Jo. And I like the idea of peeling layers like an onion. Tony
