Sure glad the wife let ME shop for the Halloween Candy this year (she had a cold ).
By the time I have the 5 leftover bags of Kit Kat bars finished off, I think I will be able to figure out how to open one without breaking the darn things !
Heh Heh Heh !!! ;D

I haven't figured out how to open anything without breaking it. In the last few years everything is packaged in "Adult proof" packing, especially candy and pudding.

Randy,
Have you ever wondered WHY some knee-jerk dip-wad decided to put Milk in a child proof container ? Without 2 years of mechanical engineering under his belt, a kid is doomed to eat dry cereal !

Mmmmm kit kat. Some years I purposely buy candy that I dont like so that I wont eat it. Other years I say screw it and only buy my favorites. This year I said screw it, so it was Reese's peanut butter cups, Twix and Kit Kat. LOL

Not if the kid wakes you up to help. Here we get milk in the plastic bags - 4 liters per sac - I go through about 12 liters per week - my son makes a hole the size of a golf ball - 1.25 seconds and your glass is full! This year we bought a box with 60 bags of chips and a box of mini chocolate Hershey bars. We gave all but 10 bags of chips out and I have the box of chocolates left over - I'm glad that most will be gone before I decide to eat them...

I finished off the Peanut butter cups the night before the kids came out of the woodwork ! And the little bags of M&M type thingies filled with Peanut Butter ! And the little Peanut Butter covered chocolate wrapped stick gizzmos also ! AND ------------ tonight the wife and stepson are getting a SUPERDELUXE X-TRA Jumbo Pizza with pineapple so I won't be banging pans around in the kitchen while the Falcons game is in progress ! Gotta find that leather punch, I think a belt modification is gonna be in order !

What? No peanut butter on the pizza Harley? After all the PB candy I would have thought that would be a must LOL. Maybe for dessert, although by this point........the only candy left around the house is the stuff that really sucks. You know, the kinds that even the kids dont want. Thats the only time our kids willingly share their candy. "Here mom, this is for you" *as she hands me a box of raisins or one of those weird chewy peanut candy bars with no chocolate (what the heck, no chocolate?)
Or Tootsie Rolls. I hate those things........they're like fake chocolate that vaguely resembles a turd. Ha!

Tootsie rolls have been around since 1896 - think it is time to retire them.

What happened to the peanut butter taffies that came in the orange and black wrappers? I hated getting those things when I was a kid because there were to many of them and they were weird but I always liked them when they were last pieces remaining. I haven't seen them in stores and my kid didn't get any in his loot this year. It's funny what things from childhood are missed.
Tootsie rolls, Tootsie pops, the vanilla and fruit flavored variety, I like them all even if they do resemble a turd. The same goes for Baby Ruth candy bars.
