Here's a Poppy Jasper slab my wife picked up at the Willamette Valley Rock and Gem show back in September. I polished it up on my expando's. I'm hoping someone on here may be able to identify where it is from. Dan

Dan, Your example looks very much like some of the material from the newly reopend Hornitos Jasper location being mined now by Dr. Trumbull at Jasper Point near Lake mc Clure, CA. You can check some of his pics for comparison by checking his flickr account under the name porkey pigg.....Mel

mel, i went to flickr as i too am on there. I found porky pigg and he had some interesting pics. It does look the same to me also.
