Yesterday when I was sorting my tumble polished pieces for anything that will cab I ran across this piece. It was an end cut from a nodule of Brazilian Agate that had a thick black skin. I liked the patten so I started cabbing it. The back was totally black and had a large hump to it. As I started grinding through the hump I came across a very pretty pattern, so much so that it rivaled the original side for appearance. I made a double cab of it by finishing both sides. Here is the first side. It is 2" high. This is the second side. Do you like it? Bob

Very nice Bob. That's quite a contrast between sides.

Gorgeous stones. The first looks similar to orbs in porcelin jasper. Very unusual colors for Brazilian.
